The Simple Truth

Truth is a strange thing.  Some people love it, some people hate it; others spend their entire lives trying to avoid it.  Why is it that this fountainhead of moral code is so widely ignored?  How is it that the truth, if it so powerful, can be distorted in so many ways as to look completely false?  There is, however, one truth that has never been negated (in any way) scientifically and has always stood the test of time…. this truth is that all things ingested or introduced into (or on) the human body ( in any way) can be toxic or poisonous depending on the dose.  Let’s look at the history of poisons for a moment.

The first time the word “poison” was used in the English literature dates back to 1230 A.D. to describe a “potion or draught that had been prepared with deadly ingredients” (Goldfrank’s Toxicological Emergencies, 7th Edition). Poisons have existed much longer than this however.  In 1200 B.C. an Egyptian text known as Ebers Papyrus describes many ancient poisons such as lead, mercury, arsenic, and wormwood. Many of the poisons described in this ancient text were thought to be “lethal to the guilty and harmless to the innocent” and were known as “ordeal poisons”.   The “penalty of the peach pit” was an interesting example of an ordeal poison as the pits of peaches contain Amygdalin which is metabolized to cyanide.  In 4500 B.C., it is said that the Sumerians worshipped the deity “Gula” known as the “controller of poisons”.  Homer (850 B.C.) wrote how Ulysses used the venom of serpents on arrows.  Cleopatra committed suicide by deliberately poisoning herself with cobra venom and Socrates was executed with poisonous hemlock.  The history of poisons and poisoning has a very long and impressive list of students, teachers and victims.

Unfortunately, the list of poisoning victims grows at an unprecedented rate today and is contributed to by many unnecessary medical treatments for harmless childhood diseases including the practice of vaccination and revaccination. The traditional allopathic model would have us believe our bodies are incapable of defending themselves….that we must rely on vaccinations to ensure the health of your child.   This is referred to as “The Germ Theory” or the “Pathogenic Theory of Medicine” and quite simply says that germs make you sick (without notice of the current state of health of the organism involved). This theory is now a cornerstone of traditional medical practice and the practice of microbiology. It is, however, not a new concept.  One of the earliest texts to discuss this theory is seen in the sacred text of Hinduism known as Atharvaveda and describes infectious agents known as yatudhanya, kimidi, and durnam and their treatment with medicines.   Is it possible that we were “made to be sick”….designed to heal ourselves with the very “symptoms” that our doctors of medicine want to take away? Last time I checked a fever was an increase in body temperature which decreased the ability of a pathogen to live in this now inhospitable environment. A cough is just a cough….designed to eject something from the upper respiratory tract…quickly!  Diarrhea could possibly be the coolest word in the English language but besides that fact is designed to eject something, equally as fast, from the lower digestive tract. Why would we want to take these things away when they represent the way we heal?

Our understanding of sickness and disease has dramatically changed since that time but our expression of this learning remains the same; antiquated.  How is it that our “best and brightest” can ignore the possibility that our bodies have the ability to heal themselves….that our bodies are self healing, self regulating organisms and don’t need help.  The only thing the body asks is “don’t get in my way”.  Vaccination against childhood diseases “gets in the way” of the power that made this body and completely ignores the simple truth that all things are toxic, depending on the dose.  Our childhood vaccination schedule, if followed completely, would expose your child to 81 vaccines by the time your child is 6 years old.  Show me the toxicological data that says it’s a good idea to inject our kids with the same dose of these potentially lethal poisons (such as phenol, formaldehyde, mercury, and aluminum) as you would give a 275 lb linebacker.  Where is the research that demonstrates the safety of 81 vaccines through the first six years of life?  Where is the data that supports the use of other medicinal treatments concurrently with this vaccine schedule, such as antibiotics?  Quite simply, where is the data that shows that vaccinated kids are healthier than unvaccinated kids?  Shouldn’t any discussion dealing with our children and medical treatments start with this question?

The simple truth is that all things have the ability to be toxic depending on the dose.  This includes vaccines that have been largely untested in their capacity to cause serious diseases such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease.  Autism and ADHD have been linked to vaccines by world class scientists who hold no bias and only ask the for the simple truth.  These vaccines contain additives that are known to cause these same diseases in animal and human studies.  To ignore the possibility that these substances, when injected into the human body, can cause these diseases in our children and interfere with the normal function of the immune system is to quite simply, ignore the simple truth.
